Tidecraft Command
Tidecraft Command asks you to think a few moves ahead, which is rare for a phone game. You manage a small fleet, claim islands, and fight over shipping lanes on a grid-based map. It leans slow and deliberate, and I mean that as a compliment — matches feel like a chess problem rather than a reflex test.
The interface deserves praise for cramming a lot of information onto a small screen without feeling cluttered. Tap a ship and you see its range, health, and options clearly. There's an offline campaign that eases you into the systems before you try skirmishes against the AI.
It's not for everyone. If you want instant action, this will bore you. But if you like sitting with a decision, weighing whether to defend or push, it scratches a very specific itch.
