Big Rush Cast

Big Rush Cast dropped onto my phone during a slow afternoon and quietly ate the rest of it. It's an arcade runner-slash-dodger where you guide a little vehicle through waves of obstacles, each level ramping up the speed until your thumb starts sweating. The whole thing is built around one-hand play, which is exactly what you want when you're standing on a train holding a coffee.

The control scheme is the star. You tap and hold to cast forward into a lane, release to slot back, and the rhythm of that gets addictive fast. There's a satisfying little snap when you thread a tight gap at full speed. Runs are short, maybe a minute or two, so it never feels like a chore to squeeze in one more attempt.

What surprised me is how readable the chaos stays even when the screen is packed. The art keeps hazards in bright colors against a calmer background, so you rarely die feeling cheated. My only gripe is that later stages recycle a few patterns, but by then you're chasing your own best distance anyway.
